We go to pick out the menu next Thurs! Was there anything that really stuck out? I went for a tasting 5 months ago and am drawing blanks!
I haven't tried it (we only got to taste cocktail hour food), but I'm excited for the chicken kiev. And as far as the cocktail hour food, the eggplant rollatini was to die for! YUM!
Enjoy!!

I am also a Riviera Bride! We are going to sign the contract this week but I was wondering how you went about asking for some of the extra goodies. I would love to have the Champagne bar thrown in. Thanks!

Re: Riviera Brides
We signed our contract with Vickie and she lowered our per person cost, and threw in the espresso bar, chocolate fountain, and champagne cart. My mom had her second wedding there so I think that helped, but Vickie threw in a lot of the above before we asked. I did ask her if she can also do the mashed potato bar and she said no. She is really nice and accomadating so I would just say you were interested in some of those and ask what she can do. Def ask though! Never hurts to ask! :)

We basically just asked as well. We had several options and told her if we got x for $y, we wouldn't have to consider any of those other options and we'd sign right away. We also had the first deposit on us and in cash. (That never hurts...)
Good luck!

Yes, definitely just see what they can throw in to make it worth your while. We signed our contract with Michelle who is one of the 'tougher' BMs but she gave us a TON of stuff. I can't really take credit though because my mom and FMIL really did all the negotiating lol. GOOD LUCK!!

Just an idea of what to ask for as far as upgrades.-Champagne Cart
-Chocolate Fountain
-Mashed Potato Bar
-Filet Mignon upgrade
-Pasta Station at cocktail hour
-Espresso Bar (although Michelle told me that it isn't really worth getting because if people go up to the regular bar and ask for a cappacino or espresso they will still make it for you)
