It's beautiful and so completely unlike an of the othe LI venues. It's 'rustic.' I have been to a couple of weddings there, all had the most amazing food and just a really great feeling. I am so, so excited to be getting married there. Being able to get married outside on the water is nice too.
Oh, and the prices are unbeatable, which is a definite perk!

What size have the weddings there been? I'm a bit concerned about the oddly shaped ballroom and people being in locations where they're segregated from others or can't see the dance floor...
We like the atypical, rustic feel and water views, too. We have a tasting scheduled next week!

Huge and small (100-200). Honestly everyone is up from their tables so much I dont think you have to worry about that.

Well, that's what I would have thought to, but I've seen a few posts and reviews that mentioned it, which is what made me worry...

If you have to, put the dancers in that corner - chances are they'll be going from the bar to the dancefloor too much to notice!

Good thought! Though, chances are, the real dancers will be my BMs. Knowing my ladies, however, I could just explain why THEY'RE the ones stuck in the corner and they'd totally understand!
