Does anyone have the quote for Sept/October of 2010 for a Sunday night wedding? Also what is the minimum required? Thanks!

Re: Riviera Help Please!
If you call them they will give you quotes over the phone. I only have Summer 2010 quotes, I believe it was $98/Saturday night from March - September. Minimum is 130.

I also have a Riviera question. Does anyone know how many people the reception holds comfortably? Also, is there anywhere else to have the ceremony, aside from what they show in the pictures?

Re: Riviera Help Please!
I know they do not have any fri or saturday evenings left in sept or october 2010.
for a thursday i was quoted 59 pp with a 100 person guarantee
sunday evening 76 pp with 120 person guarantee
these are both not including tax and tip
spring 2011 prices were between 81-89 pp
they will give you lots of extras if you sit and talk with them- they threw in a chocolate fountain and champagne cart just on our first visit there- and i had the feeling that they would throw in alot more if we actually booked with them.
I believe it holds 200 comfortably depending on seating arrangements. We visited when it was set up for 120 and there was some extra space around.

p.s. you can have the ceremony indoors in the RH(they block off the seating area so the room looks different. And they have the outdoor gazebo.

Re: Riviera Help Please!
if you are referring to the Riviera in Massapequa, I only have quote for a Saturday in May and I am paying $94 per person and need to guarantee 130. I think the most I saw their prices go up to was about $104 and that was the summer months on a Saturday, I would assume for the date you are looking for you may be around the same price as me.
Good Luck!

They will throw in a ton of extras. As far as ceremony locations, there is the outdoor location near the gazebo overlooking the water, or inside on the dance floor (they curtain off the tables for the ceremony).
We have been there several times trying to determine how many ppl can be comfortably seated. While they say upwards of 200, I believe it's more like 160 comfortably. That's JMO.

for the girls who had extras thrown in... how did you go about asking for it? And did you get extras thrown in after you signed the contract or before? I would really love to have the champagne cart thrown in at no cost just don't know how to go about asking.

It's just negotiating. They'll give you the price, and you tell them you were hoping for X per head, they'll work with you regarding #'s and then start asking what else can be added for that price.
We got additional chafing dishes, carving stations, filet mignon for the entree, a 5th dinner option all added in. Just ask and be firm (but polite) about what you're looking for. They have a bottom line and so do you.

From most of what I hear, about any RH, they start throwing stuff in when you get closer to the date. A lot of times if you go above and beyond the minimum, they'll throw extras in since you're spending more $$. We got a few 'extras' thrown in before we signed the contract but they really give these to everyone sooooo basically it's just included in the price and they wanted to make us feel special.
