Riviera in Massapequa

Are any of you planning a wedding - or have ever been to a wedding - at the Riviera in Massapequa? I visited the place today and it is BEAUTIFUL, but I don't know too much about it's reputation.

I've never been there, but have heard good things about it! I think it is recently renovated.

A girl from my sorority works there and she says its really good there. Though she works there, but she also lives in Massapequa and its gotten great reviews and its definatly worth it.

My brother got married there and my whole family thought it was great! I am going to a friend's wedding there in March and I can't wait! Do a search though; I think it's gotten mixed reviews.

I am getting married there next nov. there is someone on this site who is getting married in a couple of days there. I am sure she will post a review. Oh and do a search there were a couple of reviews over the summer. Let me know if you have any questions.

K lane do a search. There have been quite a few Riviera brides in the past that may not frequent the board anymore.

I know there is alot of info on here.

We went to look there for our reception and it was very pretty, althouh seemed small for the # we are having. Did they tell you for an extra $50, the swans do a 'swim by'?

We live right down the street from the Riviera and I think its a beautiful place. I have heard many good things about it and would have gotten married their myself but our guest list wasn't large enough : ). Good luck!!!!

I am getting married at the Riviera in 5 days!!! We can't wait!

So far the Riviera has been wonderful to work with. I will post a review when I return!!

My friend went to a wedding there. She said it was so-so. The food wasn't that great, and it was really too crowded. I was considering having it there...it IS so beautiful. I've never been to an affair there, though.

I've been to a few weddings there, and while the place is gorgeous, if you're having an evening wedding the scenery gets lost. The food was terrible every time I've been there - to the point where people (including myself) were sick the next day. Not many people ate their dinners.

my fiance's sister was married there in sept. all the guest showed up before coctail hour started and the staff brought everyone drinks early. the food was good, grounds were gorgeous. no complaints here.

I had my wedding reception at the Riviera last Friday night - it was so beautiful!!!! I will post a review tonight or tomorrow - but I just had to say how happy I was with my choice!
