Riviera Maya in January??

Has anyone been to the Riviera Maya or Cancun area in January? Originally FI and I were thinking Aruba for our HM but are now considering Riviera Maya. Do you think it will chilly there?

where going to the river maya in feb. it is the height of vacation season but not spring break so it should be nice. i tried to stick with couples only resorts no kids. to avoid family vacationers

Thanks! Right now we are leaning towards the Adventura Spa Palace. I am just worried about the weather.

funny that is where we are going LOL!!!

my boss just got back from vacationing there and she had a great time. And she is hard to please.
i wouldnt worry about the weather it is suppost to be nice about 80 degrees everyday. even in january. i would rather be there in the winter then in the summer when the temps go up right?

We are going to Aventura Spa Palace the day after Christmas this year until January 1st. I didnt even think about the weather, guess I shoulda thought of that before booking!!!
