So I know I've heard about this policy at RK bridal and Im a little upset now because i have my MOH and 2 bms coming with me into the city next Saturday ( I know that we should go on a weekday but they cant...) this is my first dress shopping and I dont want to be limited to 7 and I feel like it will be a waste of a day if we go all the way into the city and can only try on 7...
advice? should i schedule other appointments as well for later in the day? I just feel bad that I would have to dray them around, I guess I could go on my own to RK and take off a day of work and go to other shops with them next Saturday. What does everyone think?

Re: RK 7 dress policy... :-( ??
you actually dont need an apt to try on dresses....to be honest after trying on 5 dresses i was tired and cranky lol so you never know but just go in with a few pics and im sure they'll work with you
also if you do go during the week if they are not busy you can be there all day

Why don't you make an appointment for Macy's also for that day.
But I agree with the above post, you may get tired of trying on dresses.

7 dresses is a lot at any store. Even at the boutiques, you really only get a 1 hour appt. Usually you have time to try on between 5-8 dresses tops.

7 dresses is a large amount of dresses! I know it doesn't seem like it but, it really is a lot...each dress takes a considerable amount of time...especially if you try on veils and headpeices too...lots of stores won't even do 7!

I agree!. I tried on about 5 on the first time and had enough! Its a lot of work getting in out out of those dresses.

I am a New Yorker, and HATE Macy's in the city. If you live in LI, go to one on the Island, the service at Herald Square is horrible.
I only went to RK during the week, and it was a lovely experience. 7 is plenty, but go with pictures so you aren't going in blind.
