RK Bridal

Has anyone actually been to RK Bridal?

I just called and got a quote over the phone for my BM dresses and it was about $60 less than every other place. They said you can get it in any color, you only need to order 2 or more.

I feel like there has to be a catch. Are they not the real thing?

What is the deal?

I've never been there but have only heard good things about them. I know there are other posts about them on this board somewhere!

It is the real deal, but it might have been their 'no frills' price. We did this for another wedding I am in. With the no frills price, they dont really help you figure out your size at all. You either have to get measured somewhere else on your own and look at the designers size chart and figure out your size, OR, you can go in and figure out your size by trying on dresses by that designer. The price doesnt include alterations. You just tell them the sizes and colors you need and they order it. Its a really good deal, I think. Its just a little annoying because you get nervous you arent ordering the rigt size, lol. But it worked out for us. The dresses came in fast and they all fit pretty well. We picked them up and we're going elsewhere for alterations.

Wanted to add that I also got my own wedding dress their. They have a great selection.

They are the real deal - I've gone to the store many times for weddings. For one wedding I was in, we ordered the dresses over the phone from them. I also bought my wedding dress from them in the store. No problems.

I order my bms dresses from them. It is a HUGE store.
I tried on dresses there, but i was really overwhelmed & ended up finding something before I got a chance to go back.

I did the no frills for the bms, since they were out of state & couldn't come in for measurements or alterations anyway.

I got my wedding dress there for $300 less then any other place. It was not the 'no frills' program either.

I ordered my wedding dress there and it was about $1000 cheaper. I looked into getting my BM's dresses there. While their price was still about $75 cheaper than retail, I found them $100 cheaper through netbride.com. In both cases the girls had to pick their own size based on a size chart. My girls got all their dresses early and without any problems. I think RK is great also, I just wanted to let you know about the website too.

I've ordered from them for bridal parties I've been a part of. My BMs just ordered their dresses from there using the 'No Frills' program. The prices are significantly lower than area bridal boutiques.

Rest assured they're 'for real' and the only catch is that if you use the no frills program (the way to get real savings for the BM dresses), your bridesmaids are responsible for getting measured, choosing a size, and getting alterations.

Incidentally, I, personally, wouldn't use the no frills program for a wedding gown.

Well I think RK will beat any price you find online. I got a cheaper quote from Netbride too and I am going to have RK beat that price by 5%.
