RK Bridal

Congrats to all the other 09 brides!

I was just wondering if anyone got their dress from RK Bridal??? Also, did you do the No Frills package? Any other good suggestions? I like options and I am now officially in planning mode!!!!

Thank You!

Re: RK Bridal

I got my dress from them and I had a wonderful experience with them. I would DEF recommend them! I Didnt do the no frills program and still got a GREAT price =)

If you go there I would suggest going there during the week if you can (I hear that from other brides) because its not as busy. I went on a Sunday and got there at 11 when the doors opened and signed up right away to try on dresses. I still had to wait about 45 min to an hour to try them on so DEF get there when the doors open if you are going on a weekend.

I would also suggest going there with the desginers you like. If not you will be OVERWHELMED and you wont enjoy it. Its a very hands on experience, its not a sales girl going to get the dress for you, its you getting the dress for yourself and I actually REALLY enjoyed that.

If you go do your research go on there site see the designers they carry and take picutres of dresses. It is soo much easier then going through the rack

Re: RK Bridal

Got my dress there. Love my dress (obviously- don't we all love our dresses?) I did not do the No Frills program because I would prefer that they be responsible if something comes in the wrong size or something. My dress was only $773 through them (I know thats a bit exact on the number but I still remember lol). I got a veil from them for about 250.
A few of my bridesmaids are doing the No Frills program but most are not.
Only thing thats not so great is you can only try on 7 dresses at a time (my dress was the 4th one I tried) and it gets VERY busy on weekends... like super hectic. I didn't know that when I went though because I went on a weekday in the summer.

Re: RK Bridal

I just bought my dress there a couple of weeks ago. I loved working with Janice and Olga. Definitely recommend going when they open on a weekday. I looked at their website, saw that they carried Maggie Sottero and Casablanca (two designers I had wanted to try on several dresses with) and brought pics of the ones I liked. I went back a couple more times to show friends/sisters so they could help me pick and then I bought through the regular process. Dress was under $800 and I bought a veil for about $150 (they took 10% off since I bought my dress there too). The only regret I have is that I've been dieting on Jenny Craig for 3 months and am down 33 lbs but plan on dropping another 25-30 lbs by June. I wish I had taken my own measurements and looked at the Casablanca guide - to see if it was close between the size they ordered and the next size down. Instead, I got so excited to order that the guy just told me what size I needed and I didn't think that was what I should have ordered. Just be aware of your measurements if you do decide so you aren't thrown off by that. The store had lots of choices and the BEST prices so I would definitely recommend. Good luck.

I got my dress from RK and worked with Olga she was great. I didn't do the no frills and still got a wonderful price. I went on a Saturday morning and was the first person there and was taken care of right away. If you do go on the weekend get there by 9 so when they open at 9:30 you will be one of the first people there. As the other girls said bring pictures of dresses off their website its very difficult to look thru the racks. Also bring at least one other person with you the dresses are really heavy. I suggest bringing shoes that will be around the same height as your wedding shoes so they can take the right measurements.

I got my dress from there and was able to price match it with another store. Also did the no frills program with the bridesmaids dresses. Everything worked out well.

Re: RK Bridal

I was JUST in RK Bridal this past Wed! I worked with Gilda, and she was funny/helpful. She actually came highly recommended from a friend. On my first visit I tried on 5 dresses and ended up liking the last and least expensive dress. Despite the fact that she works on commission, Gilda reassured my decision and was super helpful (she kinda reminded me of my grandma) On Wed I placed my order and left a deposit. My experience was great and I got a great deal on my dress.

I went through Davids Bridal for my BM dresses so I never looked into the No frills package.
