At RK Bridal...do you go through the racks of gowns yourself?? Or does a consultant go through and pull dresses for you? If you do go through the racks yourself, are the racks organized and marked by the designer's name? Also, how many dresses can you choose to try on? TIA!

Re: RK Bridal
When I went, first thing on a Saturday morning (I mean when the doors opened) I had to rifle through the racks on my own. I was pointed to the Maggie Sottero rack, yes they are clearly marked and divided by designer, and they let me have at it. I was only allowed to select 5 dresses and had no help whatsoever. On the flip side, I've heard other ladies say someone helped them pulled dresses while they tried on, but my 'helper' was a particularly crappy. LOL! Also, they don't accept appointments for first time dress shoppers! HTH!

Re: RK Bridal
you pick the first 5 dresses while your waiting to be taken by your consultant. then once your with your consultant they will help pick a few other gowns based on what you like/dont like.

Yeah, I think it is hit or miss with who you get at RK. I had Jo, and she was the best. I HATED all of the dresses I tried on, but she picked THE ONE. I also had my mother and aunt pull dresses once I went into the dressing room. You're only allowed to have 5 dresses when you first go in, but there's no rule about after that

i went to rk for BM dresses and i looked through the racks myself. the racks had labels of the designers and i took probably 6 or 7 dresses to try on. No one really helped me, it was me and my cuzin on our own, but im sure theyd help if u asked.

Definitely hit or miss! I went with my cousin 3 years ago for her bridal gown and she got such GREAT service. They really helped her find what style worked best on her body type and still incorporated the details she was looking for. They also helped her find a veil, a lacey panel to cover up the tattoo on her back and her BM dresses! I got no such service. LOL!
