RK Bridal

Original post by winnie52376

Going to RK bridal to try on dresses tomorrow - yay! I've gone twice to look for dresses before, but for some reason, this seems more 'real'. Perhaps it's because now i have a better idea of what i like/dont like. Hoping we will see some Bridesmaid dresses as well.

So random question - what did you girls wear for undergarments when you tried on dresses - or did you not care? LOL.

RK Bridal

Honestly, if RK doesnt work out for you, you should definitely make an appt at Designer Loft. It's not super crazy busy and and at least you'll get the 'feel like a princess' experience. it's a 2 block walk from RK.

RK Bridal

RK Bridal is where I would like to purchase my dress because of how affordable they can be, but I definitely have heard terrible their customer service is. I am planning to go there on a Sunday later this month (finger crossed).
Thank you for the heads up :)

RK Bridal

i went to rk bridal because they were one of the 2 stores that carried the dress that i 'had' to try on..i went on a saturday around 12 and i waited for about an hour..i just picked 5 dresses like the one i liked and my consultant only picked one..i knew i wasnt buying anything that day jsut wanted to see..turns out im glad i went because it turns out hte dress i had to try on wasnt bridal enough for me..
while trying on dresses my first 2 appts i wore strapless bras but found that the dresses didnt look right with it so my next 3 appts i got a bra from the store.

I definitely dont want to discourage brides from going to RK - because they do have a very large and, more importantly, AFFORDABLE, selection. It's just not great if you aren't 100% of what you want or if you get the short straw and wind up with a nasty consultant. The first time that I went for my friend, I didnt think it was bad at all and her consultant was great.
