Rk Bridal Alterations

Girls,
When your order your dress through Rk bridal, do you need to get it fitted there? I have heard mixed reviews and I'm not sure what to do. I know that people say do it through the store because if something were to happen, they are responsible to get you a new one.... BUT, my first fitting is June 13th and my last one is July 18th when my wedding is July 31. Is only two weeks way cutting it close? Do they really make changes at the last fitting or is it just to try it on and take it home?

I totally thought the same thing about it being too close but its not. Thats how they make sure it still fits perfectly that you havent lost/gained weight. And yes they can still do alterations to it at 2 weeks away but dont have to.
My friend got married last year and she told me as the wedding got close, 2 weeks away, she was so nervous she had lost more weight and they still had to take in a lil on the dress at her last fitting. So dont worry its totally normal!

And I got my dress there and Im getting my alterations there. And my last appt is 2 weeks before the wedding =)

I'm getting my alterations done at RK and had my second appointment this week. I have 3 dress fittings and it spans about a month. My first was Feb 3, 2nd Feb 24th and then March 5th. I'm picking up my dress on March 17th. Married on March 28th. So your appointments sound about right. Yes, they actually make alterations a few weeks before in case of weight loss or gain. I noticed that I lost some weight and it was all in my boobs. So now I've either gotta get padding put into my dress or find a better bra. HTH!
