Has anyone ordered bridesmaid dresses from here? If so, what was the experience like? I've heard fantastic reviews but am not sure I want to have my bridesmaids trucking into the city to try on and then to have alterations done...thoughts? TIA!

I'm in the process of ordering actually. Im just waiting on measurements for 2 girls. They have a 'no frills' option, where you basically just order through RK Bridal and they will ship the dresses to address (or addresses) requested, then your BMs can get them altered wherever they'd like. The no frills price is VERY reduced and free shipping on orders over 300.00. It works out nicely for me because I have 3 bridesmaids downstate and 3 upstate, so we're ordering in groups. If you call RK, they can send you an order form and probably explain a bit more.
I can't tell you if it all works out easily because I just filled out my forms, but I know with my bridal down, the customer service was great. I had a hole in my gown and they shipped me a brand new one - rush order - with no extra charge. HTH!

I am wondering if they have any alternatives to the 'no frills'. I kind of wanted to go to a traditional salon where I can have the help of a professional and where I can go back to in order to have alterations done.
