RK Bridal-for those ordering bm dresses here....

Are you having your bridesmaids give you their measurements (bust, waist, and height) and from there are you looking at the no frills sizing chart to determine what size best fits the measurements they gave you????
For some reason, this makes me nervous: being the one to pick their size. I don't want them to end up paying a ton of money on alterations OR having the dress be too small. Anyone have any advice or info?

My girls just got their dresses in and they did No Frills. Also, all of the weddings that I've been a BM in previously I've used the No Frills, except for once when I got my alterations done there. Anyway, why don't you have them go to any bridal place and try on the sample size and see what they think from there. If the sample is a 10 let's say, and it was just a little too tight, then they should order a 12. If it's waaay off the size they really are, then yes, go by their measurement chart. Rule of thumb is if they fall in between two sizes on the chart, order the larger size. It is MUCH easier to take in a dress than to take it out. There's not always enough extra fabric inside to take it out. None of my girls had a problem and they all just got their dresses and went by the size chart. Good Luck!

ETA: My MOH took care of the ordering, they all either had someone measure them or measured themselves and gave her the corresponding size.
