I have not been there but I have heard that the prices are excellent. However, it's supposed to be a madhouse. Personally I'd go to a less crazy place to try on dresses and pick one out and then just go to RK to order them.

That's what I did. I went shopping for BM dresses and when I found what I liked I called RK Bridal. The price at RK was $80 cheaper than every Bridal Salon.

My advice is look for it cheaper on the web and then do the price match with them. They are usually early and dresses are in good shape - good luck!

Thats what I need, a good place for my girls to try them on. I am very budget concerned when it comes to my girls. I don't evenknow where to take them to try. They are coming from NJ, the Bronx, Yonkers. Nassau, & queens. Any good places to try on before we order from rk?

Bridal Reflections - Carle Place or Massapequa Burtons - Huntington Macy's - Manhasset Flowerama - Ridgewood or Elmont Charmet - Bayside

Re: rk bridal in the city
i got my dress and my girls' dresses at RK bridal. the prices are very reasonable..but it IS a madhouse on the weekends, if you can go during the week it is much better! they also have a price option for bridesmaids...if the girls pick their own sizes w/no help from RK (they provide tape measurers and size charts), you geta significant discount, my girls dresses were 155, but with this 'no frills' option, they were only 120. more info on their website, rkbridal.com.

We went during the week at about 3 and waited at least 2 hours just to get a dressing room. Saturdays are CRAZY.

RK Bridal has great prices, but the sample dresses there aren't in the best shape and sometimes it gets extremely crowded. I think the best thing to do is shop somewhere else until you pick what you like, then order it through RK Bridal.

RK Bridal is great. I got there early on Saturday, and immediately signed in. By the time I picked out dresses, my name was called.
It is not frills, but the women are super helpful (I went by myself).
It is fun because you can see the other girls trying on and there is a good vibe going on.

I loved RK! I got my dress there, so did my bridesmaidss and my mom too. They had a huge selection and were very helpful. The prices were really decent too. Its less crowded if you go during the week, preferably early. Although, I went both times on a Saturday 1st thing. But others have said during the week is less crowded. Definitely check it out!

One of my coworkers ordered her BM dresses there. She got tea length Watters & Watters. They were between $180 & $200 on long island & she paid $115. The only thing is you should try them on elsewhere so you can see what they look like. RK has the styles in every size but not in every color.
