RK Bridal Review

Original post by Espo22

Ok so today I went to Rk bridal with one of my bm's because this month she is in another bridal party and had to pick up her dress...I went with her to see the selections of BM dresses before i start taking the girls to look at them

Alot of people say how crazy RK bridal gets on the weekends, so def suggest a weekday...There weren't alot of people in there, i walked all around looking at the bm dresses freely and quietly...Other girls had said how things are all over the floor and its a mess but everything was up on hangers and separated by designers. There was one dress i saw that i liked so decided to try it on to see what it would look like and get an idea of how my girls would look in it...The dressing rooms were open and since it was not that busy i didnt have to sign in and wait, i just walked right into a dressing room. The sales people let you look on your own and didnt get bothered at all, one just said if you need help let me know and that was about it.

Also to the girls who asked about some of the BM dresses i posted the other day, i saw some of them today...Some girls asked about the green dress i posted and let me tell you it looks completely different in person, the color is nothing like the picture, the front i didnt like at all, and the back looks a little different, it was disappointing. Someone else asked about the brown pick up dress, the saison blanche one, thats the one i tried on and that dress is gorgeous in person, i loved it. But alot of dresses when i saw in person i didnt like at all...Def go look before you make up your mind, bc i saw dresses that i thought were gorgeous today.

Also about pick me up dresses, so many look so different in person, most look weird and just a mess lol...The one i tried the pick ups were perfect and looked great.

I wouldn't wish RK Bridal on my worst enemy!!! I had the most horrible nightmare of an experience there, and suffice it to say that three weeks before my wedding, I now have no dress (which, by the way, I bought all the way back in November!). Here's the short version of the story:

First they forgot to ship me my dress (which, by the way, was not cheap - once they added alterations it was close to $2,000!). Then the seamstress made the dress too small. Then she wrecked the fabric by working with it too much. The top guy there was great and tried to fix it, but it was beyond repair. So here I am, three weeks away, with no dress.

The worst part, though, is that the owner is a conniving, lying business man who cares nothing about weddings and everything about making money. He pretended to be on our side, acknowledging that the mistake was theirs and that the seamstress screwed up, and he promised to do whatever he could to make us happy -- including ordering a new dress. Three days later it was as though the conversation never happened! He denied ever having said anything about helping us or getting a new dress, and hung up on my mom when she called to discuss it with him!!

Needless to say he has made this whole experience a nightmare. RK is nothing more than a factory. They are emotionless, deceitful business people and nothing more - just out to make money and get you any way they can. I would not wish this experience on anyone -- I have three weeks before my wedding and now have to find a new dress AND argue with them (they still want to charge us for the dress!!!!) at the same time!!

I'm sorry to hear about your experience there. I hope you find a new dress that you love!

I love them for the fact they have thousands of dresses to try on! and if you find the same dress online cheaper they will match the price! Getting my BM and Wedding dresses there!
