Hi girls. So question --- if you want to buy a belt/sash for your dress. When is it best to have that? I got my dress From Rk bridal and don't have fittings until 6 weeks before wedding. Would it be wise to go to fittings with a sash/belt ready? Or wait and pick one out while I'm trying on my dress. If I just order one from online it would be without trying it on. Any ideas on how to do this? What did u girls do?

I bought my belt From etsy for $75.... In store they are $300-500!!

I would have all your accessories that will affect the way your dress looksffor all your fittings (shoes, bra, spanx, belt ect).

I mean do you think it's wise to buy a belt before trying it on? I guess if I didn't like the way it looked on dress I could return it. But I agree that I'd rather not spend $400 buying one from store at fitting time.

Check out Barron's in Tri County. That's where I got my belt from and it's beautiful!

My dress already comes with the belt so I don't have this issue but I am pretty sure you have the general look or idea of what you want your belt to look like and what would go well with your dress. So on that note, to save $$ I would def try and look for your belt outside of the salon because prices are so much higher. If you are iffy though, just make sure to purchase your sash from a place you can make returns. Or if you have the time, shop for a sash in your bridal salon and then try to find a similar one elsewhere.
