Hi, I went wedding dress shopping yesterday at RK Bridal (I know it's a little early) I found a dress I really liked and it looked nice on. My problem is RK bridal b/c of their hours would be a pain to get to for fittings and everything ( I live on Nassau/Queens border and work in Westchester). I checked the manufacturer's web-site and Lillettes and My Daughter's Wedding both carry the brand. These places would be a little easier to get to but I don't know how they match up price-wise against RK. Does anyone know if they are competative with RK? Will they honor the price I was given at RK?

i think you should call them directly and see how they can work around the price. i definitely know rk bridal gives quotes right over the phone. i would call lillette's and find out how much their selling the dress.

My Mom got her dress at my daughters wedding & then found the same dress sp much cheaper somewhere else. IMHO, that store is over-priced. I'd find out how much it costs at rk bridal & then call one of the other stores to compare prices & see if they'll do a price match.

I got my dress at My Daughter's Wedding and I feel like I got a great price there, but I didn't look at those other places for my dress. I def. recommend taking a look there, they are extremely helpful and friendly!

I think Lilletes has low prices. I saw my dress there at its lowest price.

Re: RK Bridal/Lillettes/My Daughter's Wedding
I have mixed feelings about the customer service of My Daughter's Wedding...I went once with my mom to look for dresses without an appointment, and the lady was great. About a month or so later, I went back with my SIL to look at the same dresses, and the lady was AWFUL...she didn't give me the time of day, and when we asked for help she kept saying give me a minute and never helped. I asked about the first lady who had helped me, and I was told she no longer worked there.
I don't know if customer service factors into your equation, but I think Lillette's has better service.
