I found my dress at rk bridal and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with ordering with them. I am thinking of doing it through the mail with them since it is significantly cheaper. Any one hear of someone doing this?

It was very unsettling. Our wedding was Saturday March 25th and she died on Saturday, June 24th. We had a small affair of 80 folks & she was also at our rehersal dinner, so we spent some time together during our last visit.

She and my uncle had just retired, sold their home in Ft Lauderdale and were driving to CA to be near their sons....when their Firestone tire blew on their Ford Explorer. (This happened 2 weeks before the news of the defective tires hit the airwaves). She died on site, my uncle escaped with a punctured lung and a slight concussion. They decided to bury her in FL...but it was postponed 9 days until my uncle was released and arrived via train (can't fly w/a punctured lung)

Michelle,

I ordered my bridemaid dresses the no frills way at the disounted price from RK and they were fine. I ordered my bridal dress the other way because I wanted to have the alterations done there. You also have to measure yourself for the no frills way, but if you have a seamstress who can do your alterations the no frills way is a great deal. I really liked dealing with them. THey are a no nonsense, striaght to the point kind of business

The Alfred Angelos that I saw were so pretty. I saw many that I liked a lot when I was looking on line. I didn't end up getting one b/c I fell in love with an Eve of Milady when I tried it on but I kept bookmarking the AA's when I was first searching on line.

Ordered an Alfred Angelo dress that suited both my taste and more important my budget :-)

This Rkbridal sounds great. I am having such a tough time finding bridesmaids dresses. Hey, i am getting married on June 16th 2001, how funny.
do they have a nice selection for bridesmaids?

Glory,,...your invitations sound so beautiful!!

They have a very large selection. I got Bari Jay dresses which cost like 170 for 125.

Does anyone know the name of the Mexican restaurant that's at the end of Steinway? I think that's Northern Blvd. there and it's in Long Island City. I seem to recall a car-wash nearby too.

I couldn't find it in any of the on-line phone books without a name, and since I'm in Boston, it's hard to drive by!

This rkbridal sounds great. Where are they located?

We were also thinking of looking into Magic Moment, their videographer. Any comments on them?

I'm sure she has other musicians. I think I posted her info, give her a call.

The last minute details are absolutely driving me crazy!!! I am not good under pressure and feel like I'm having a nervous breakdown. I do not feel ready for the wedding at all!! (I am ready to get married though). It really is just non-stop wedding stuff from here on to the 28th :) It is coming soooo fast!!

Jenn, thanks again for asking, you are so sweet!! Also, thanks for everyone's advice on the jewlery. I will definately check those places out!! I love this board!!!
