::ROCK:: ::ME:: ::HARD PLACE::

Well girls, I'm off to Florida for 3 days with FH and his family. His father had moved down there a few months ago to help care for his mother who was ill and she passed a few weeks back. Now he has passed as well...So, they are having a small service down there then bringing his ashes up here to scatter over the mountains upstate.

I feel so horrible leaving my family right now though...my grandfather is still in the hospital and they have confirmed that he has liver cancer and it has spread throughout his body. There isn't much they can do.

I'm so scared that something will happen while I'm gone. I went to see him this morning and although he is still weak, he is doing GREAT!! (Compared to how he was last week) He is improving everyday. Hopefully, he will be able to survive this horrible disease for at least a little while longer.
