Rock the reception/ my obession with dirty dancing

I happen to love this show and if you don't know it the bride and groom come out and do an awesome dance for their first dance together.

Like 6 months ago I asked FH, when I heard that patrick swayze was dying if was could do our first dance to 'I had the time of my life' from dirty dancing. I LOVE that movie. I want to do the exact dance and I have seen it done on You Tube at other weddings. I think I would change my dress and then change back after the dance. FH is pretty on board. Im a dancer and he's not bad so I know we could pull it off. I am even will to take some lessons before our wedding to touch it up. Am I crazy with this whole idea? Or is there another bride out there who wants to dance too?

i want to do a dance like that too...too bad he doesnt dance...at all...seriously, at all...
I would KILL to be able to have a first dance like that...you know, start it slow and typical first dance song then all of a sudden the music cuts and starts a crazy upbeat song and then we rock out lol

I love the idea!!!! i think its awesome!!!! and love when i see the videos of people doing this. i showed fh the videos on youtube because i wanted to do it, but he told me i was nuts and that he won't do it.

i think if your fh is willing to do it, go for it!!!!!
