So I had my engagement party Sept 27th at Sergios in Massapequa, and it was AMAZING. The food was delicious and VERY inexpensive, and the service was great. I highly recommend it.
On Oct 2nd I threw my parents a surprise 25th anniversary at Roma View in Howard Beach. People are STILL calling daily to tell me how great the party was, and my mom is still in shock. The food and service were AMAZING, and the Venetian hour was the best i have ever seen.

i keep getting recommendations for them for our RD but someone told me that it was less than impressive, give me details! we're looking at between 34-40 people.

we had about 60 people and we had the room in the back. it was AMAZING.

i come from a big italian family, and i am a VERY picky eater. the food was FANTASTIC. People are still commenting on how great everything was. It was very simple, intimate and perfect. I had never been to sergios before, but my aunts go a lot and i am so glad i went with this place. REALLY inexpensive and DELICIOUS food

I went to a wedding at Roma View and it was fantastick....just like Russo's only on a somewhat smaller scale. Beautiful place.

i see you're getting married at the riviera. My BIL got married there as well , and right after the rehearsal we just drove down the road to sergios, it was very convenient and the food was very good. from what i hear you get a lot of food for the money. The space was great too i think we were about 30 people but there was def room for more.

Whoever says that Sergios is 'less than impressive' must have money to burn. Granted, it's not a fancy restaurant. Some of the decor is older, but the room is cozy...not too big not too small. If you are not able to have an e-party at someone's house and are on a budget, it is a great place to have it. I would have liked a more 'fancy' place, but everywhere I looked was DOUBLE the price! Not worth it to have paid double looking back.
Only other place I found in that price range was Elegante in Lynbrook. Room is smaller, holds approx 50 MAX. I went to a shower here once, it was tiny but worked fine. Prices were about $20pp. Food is very good. It is a pizzeria/restaurant. Have to park at train station 1 block away. I would also recommend this place, it was just too small for us.

I totally agree with how amazing Roma View is!!!
Had my daughters shower there last month and it was a big hit. I don't have one complaint! The food was amazing, the staff was beyond amazing. We had a DJ - Musicflex - recommended by Roma View and we danced the night away!
We worked with Eric setting up the affair and he was so helpfy! They even sent food home with us from the buffet.

I had my bridal shower here a few weeks ago and the food was awesome and the room was perfect! Def check this out!!
