Does anyone know what it means to say 'The bridal Party will sit roman style?'

I think it means they will sit at one table, like a rectangular table, which is usually a bit raised, and they sit on one side (bride and groom in the center) and they face the rest of the wedding, so they see the whole time what is going on, they are kinda on display, and it seems awkward for them to have conversation and stuff...
Does this make sense?

Really that is what is it called....I just thought was a dias (sp?)

I would call it a dias (sp?) too, but I THINK that is what they mean by Roman style. I could be wrong, it happens once or twice a year
