Romantic getaways

Does anybody know of any hotels on LI that are romantic with something to do outside of the hotel for a quick one night getaway??

Ummm well Its not li, but I booked the MGM at foxwoods for under $300 for a bday gift for FH...in November. Thats a steal.

Maybe something near Montauk. We went horse back riding on the beach there. I'm sure there are hotels around there.

what about a bed and breakfast? there are a lot of them on LI and can be very romantic!

FH and i are going the arbor view house out east...minutes from greenport and the wineries...

We stayed at The Montauk Yacht Club last year for FH's birthday - it was really nice and there is a lot to do there.

I would also try the Stirling House Bed & Breakfast in Greenport. It is super cute - only has three rooms - it is right across the street from a small dock and two minutes to town. FH took us there for our engagement weekend

did you look at a bed and breakfast? Also, if you type weekend getaways in long island into the search engine they are usually pretty efficient in finding places too. Also try hotels.com they usually have great deals too.
