Can anyone recommend a romantic place to stay for our wedding night?? FI and I are not taking out honeymoon until December but we want to go somewher on our wedding night for a weekend getaway? Origianlly I was going to book The Arbor View House in East Marion but now I want to look around.
Any ideas?

Since you're getting married at the Stony Brook Yacht Club, how about the Three Village Inn or Danford's on your wedding night?
For a romantic weekend get-away I recommend Block Island. It's off of Montauk and can only be gotten to by ferry (or by small charter plane). There are tons of B&B's with amazing views from all over the island! They're secluded and romantic!
It is not on Long Island, but Mohonk Inn is upstate and supposed to be beatiful.

I just wanted to say.. I don't think I could stay at a B&B. I mean i know they're romantic, quiet and quaint, but most are large homes run by a family of sorts.
I don't think I'd feel comfy on my wedding night (and all that entails) in a place were I have to come face to face with the owners...
I dunno. I'm not saying it's going to Rated R, Im just saying I'd rather it not happen in Mr & Mrs Smith's honeymoon suite. I'd like more privacy. Gimme room service and champagne!

How about the Inn at East Wind, you are right around the corner from some wineries and they have the spa and everything on the premisis. The place is amazing, this is where Fiance and I are going to spend our wedding night.
