Ron!!!!!!!!

I understand kind of the 'why' of deleting my thread...but I can't tell you how upset a few of us brides would have been had she caused our entire 'knock off' thread to be deleted.

It is probably one of the most stressful parts of wedding planning for those of us that go this route, and that thread is a soothing presence- a place were everyone on there understands what the other is going through.

I am grateful that you opted to delete that post and not the whole thread, but still...we have no real protection

I know this is a public forum, but fakies and vendor snooping drives me NUTS! especially since usually it's us girls that take the hit.

Do tell, Jess!! I totally missed it!!

From what I've read, I'm sorry that we as brides have to be subjected to vendors creeping and watching. I'm sorry you had to go through this, both you and Chris don't deserve it.

Now I'd really like to know what was said! What did this say in the thread? That's so messed up.

the gist of it is this- a vendor that Chris used posted something very nasty on our 'designer knock-off thread', which as we know can very well lead to having the whole thread deleted. thankfully Ron just deleted the post, but I was so upset when I read what this person wrote (and the idea that our whole thread could be deleted b/c of the rantings of a vendor) that I posted a little response thread to the vendor, which Ron then deleted.

that's it in a nutshell. perhaps I was a little out of line, but I felt a need to protect my 'baby' LOL

That's crap Jess! I'm sorry that your post was invaded. I hate when vendors interfere. I'm happy that your entire thread wasn't deleted though.

I hate when vendors feel compelled to comment on what someone has written rather than just fixing whatever a bride might be complaining about.

But, I have to commend Ron &/or Liz for taking swift action and realizing the value of the rest of the thread. His/her job is not easy - s/he can't possibly have the time to read every single post for or ordinary troublemakers. Not to mention the phone calls we brides get from vendors and then ask Ron &/or LIz if the call is legit or fake, and the time s/he spends to investigate and then get back to us.

I do agree I'm glad only the post was deleted...I saw this & was like OMG & fm'd Ron last night..
