Room Blocks

Has anyone getting married in Sept. or Oct. done room blocks yet? I'm researching and the cheapest so far I've gotten is 109.00 is this good

That sounds very good to me. I wish that I got quotes like that. Our wedding is in July and we were quoted $159 and up!

I booked my block at Marriott Residence Inn in Plainview. Room rate is $139.

Hey, so did I!! Hotel twins he-he.. but I'm at $149, hey, it's August!

ETA: Sorry, you asked a question...I don't know the quality of the hotel but $109 sounds pretty good!

It's never too early for booking!
We booked ours at 170.00 a night but it's more expensive due to the fact that our wedding is located in the heart of wine country in the fall.

$109 is great!

Ours are $179 which is actually about $40 less than the standard rate, but we booked early so they gave us a great deal.

Hmm - I got quoted $129/night at the Courtyard on 110 and $119/night at the Huntington Hilton also on 110, so we went with the Hilton.

i think it's a good rate, especially since we paid $99/night for my brother's wedding in the middle of nowhere NH last year!
