Roomba has also changed my life....

My parents also got me the new Roomba vac as another 'pre-shower' gift...

I didn't think it was going to be able to really get all the dog hair....my floors are spotless. Right now it's cleaning my bedroom while I'm in the office writing this!

I haven't had to take out my own vaccume in over 2 weeks...this thing even goes under the beds, sofas!!! I know you're supposed to still do a regular vacuuming like once a week, but I haven't had to yet!

It absolutely does...it just finished my bedroom...you have to see the amount of dust and cat/dog hair I empty out of it when it's finished!!!

i find that it picks up well but that it doesn't cover all the areas of the rug. i am a very thorough cleaner of my floors. i do love how it goes under furniture. my MIL got it for me for my shower.

I have an open floor plan, and all hardwood floors.

I tend to use the 'electronic barriers' (it comes with these) to block of the square footage so it doesn't have to clean an enormous amount at one time...the place is spotless.

I'm very happy.

I gotta get one of these! Where do I find it? My dog will go crazy and probably try and chase it down but I love the fact that it goes under the bed and other places we can't always vacuum. Where do I get it?!!!

I would ahve never thought that it would work, I saw it in the SkyMAll catalog on my Hm, and was skeptical, I should check it out, even thoug my DH does all the Vacumming.

i dont get it - how dirty could a floor get that a roomba would be needed? also, what happens if you change the furniture around or maybe leave a bag on the floor - wont this confuse it? maybe i just dont understand the way it works - i thought you had to program it to learn the room by doing a once through first manually

I have two dogs and one cat, and birds...so I need to vacuum everyday, I can''t stand see dog hair on the floor (two pugs shed a lot!)

You don''t program the roomba...you can move furniture around, it doesn''t matter...my dogs even get in the way of it sometimes. It just hits the furniture and moves around it or goes under it.
