Roommates invites?
So both FH and I have a few friends who live together as roommates, and will be invited to the wedding. As of now, I don't think they'll necessarily be living together when we send out invites, but in regard to STDs...Do we send them each their own, or would it be okay to send them one with both names on the envelope?
They're magnets, so they are on the expensive side, and more expensive to ship. During the holidays, we always just send one card to the home and put all the resident's names on them. If they are still living together when we get married, we will send them separate invites, but I don't think they're going to put two (or, in some cases, three) of the same magnet on their fridge and I don't want them to go to waste.

Roommates invites?
One magnet per fridge. Addressed to all is fine

Roommates invites?
And what if one of the roommates has a boyfriend we're definitely inviting because we're also friends with him (they don't live together), but the other roommate has a boyfriend who is fairly new (less than 6 months), and at this point, we're not inviting him?Should we just leave the roommates names, so we don't have to make a decision about inviting the new boyfriend just yet, or put roommate #1 and boyfriend and roommate #2?
Sorry for all the questions!

Roommates invites?
Just put the roomates names. If you're going to invite the one boyfriend for sure... just let your friend know. If you're friends with the roommates bf ... maybe send him his own STD?When I got my most recent STD that was a magnet... it was just addressed to me. (this was before FH and I were living together)
I feel like STDs are a generalized sort of invite so it doesn't have to be TOO specific.
Also... depending on how sensitive roomate # 2 is... if you leave off her bfs name she may get upset and it could just lead to all annoying things lol.

For people in relationships but not living together we did not include their names on the STD's and just let people wonder if they were invited I guess LOL. It is too confusing to pick and choose which people are serious with their boyfriends or girlfriends too early before the wedding, and just in case they break up. Also, you don't want to commit to inviting everyone with a guest if you might not end up doing that. So I think it's fine to leave off boyfriend/girlfriend names on an STD and just address it your friend.

Don't overthink STD's. Etiquette also says never to write 'guest' on the envelope. If people inquire about a boyfriend you address it then.

Roommates invites?
We did magnets and it didn't cost more for shipping was a regular stamp. We sent our STDs based on certain things. If we had all members of a family invited and they all lived at home we sent 1 'The X Family'. For multiple people living in the same house who aren't related and are over the age of 18 we sent individual. We didn't send to peoples significant others, that is for the wedding invite. Hope this helps!

I agree with Katielynn! I think you're fine just putting the roommates names on there, and not the significant others for the STDs.

Roommates invites?
I may be the odd one out, but I personally would send one STD to each roommate. Living together, same fridge or not, they are still individual people.

This. It's just the STDs, invitations should be sent to individual people, but in this case I think one per fridge works just fine!

Roommates invites?
I would address one to each roommate. Its not the same as a family. I personally would send separate ones. I like to keep stuff like that.Welcome New Vendors
