i have to get one has anyone had one?? How bad is it??

I had to have an emergency root canal It actually wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.

I totally agree Its diff for everyone, but I had the best exp when I had mine. felt more pain getting a cleaning once...honestly. Don't stress about it.

had one and work at a dental office... see them done all day long... you will be fine

It's really not bad at all. Definitely not worth the bad name that they get. Novocaine works wonders!

I had one and it heard like all heck because my dentist has a real heavy hand and it just hurt so damn bad.

don't be stressed i had half of it finished before i knew the actual root canal part had started

its hurts a little when they shove a little metal thing to clean your tooth and then to get the nerve.it might hurt a little later because i got a few teeth done at the same time . i would try and avoid salty food for a day or two. i had 6 done at time and i was hurting..but its not that bad when they give you the novican .

I've had two. Honestly, it's not that bad at all. I've had people tell me that their experience was horrible. I guess it depends on how many roots have to be removed.

You should be fine though.

I had one done on my front tooth. To be honest it wasn't terrible. I was sore for about a day or two, but after that I was fine. Milkshakes made everything better

not bad at all, you dont even feel anything really. Ive had it done with anesthesia and that you DONT feel anything seriously.

I had an infection and had to have one without anesthesia bc you cant use anesthesia with an infection and even if you did it wouldn't work. I got through that and wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. You wont have this im sure lol but if i got through it without anesthesia trust me you'll be fine.

ive had 2 they dont hurt until the next day from the dentist working on it but the procedure itself is fine!! good luck!! my FH is actually at the dentist rt now getting one!!
