Re: Rose Bouquet
I would say the girls don't HAVE to wear red. You can coordinate their flowers with shades of pink and a few red roses. This bo-k (from my experience) will go with a lot of dress colors. I am looking at doind this type of bo-k for my girls and they are going to wear aqua or sage green.

Re: Rose Bouquet
I was thinking they could wear black but that's if you like that color... I think it would look so elegant with red roses... I am having a bo-k of all red roses but my girls are actually in a red color... u could also go with light pink which would be perfect for a summer wedding...

My sis had red roses for her wedding and they were beautiful. Her BM dresses were wine colored

My girls are wearing Euro Wine by Bill Levkoff and carrying all different shades of pinks and reds. I am having a black magic rose bouquet.

Re: Rose Bouquet
Bridesmaid dress color options to go with bride's red rose bo-k:
silver grey black navy gold taupe champagne sage red burgundy wine
None of those would clash -- and you can make their bo-ks match their dress, but blend with yours.

Re: Rose Bouquet
with red roses i think pale gold dress or short (since its a June wedding) black dresses. in fact i would stay away from red on red. i've also seen red look good with pink, all shades of purple, and blue.

Re: Rose Bouquet
I had red roses in my bouquet and my bridesmaids not only wore black dresses but had red roses in their bouquets. Here's a picture:
My girls are doing navy. The day that I met my florist for the first time a few girls were with me and one had on a navy blazer, and it looked amazing

Re: Rose Bouquet
I'm concerned about having a red bouquet because I AM having my girls wear red (I think)! Contrast is really nice, and sometimes red roses might blend in too much for photos. Watch out with roses and wine/burgundy colored dresses: my best friend did this for her wedding, and the roses (they were fire and ice, which sometimes matches) were off from the color she thought they would be, and clashed a bit.

Re: Rose Bouquet
I agree that red on red can blend in too much. SOmetimes it looks like a dark 'blob'. Especially black magic roses in poor lighting. I think lighting is key factor though.
But I love to see red with a color like navy, platinum & red is amazing together. So are pinks with reds.
