I've never heard of it but it sounds very interesting...very nice!!! It probably looks sweet as well.

We are doing the rose ceremony, but a little differently. I will be giving a rose to my FH's parents, and he is giving one to mine. The roses symbolize us joining the family.

We did this! I gave one to my MIL & DH gave to my Mom & Step-mother. Also as a thank you for making us the peiple we are today.

I've seen this done as well...I've also seen it done as part of the 'peace be with you' portion of the mass
