Re: Rose petals.....
If I can convince FH to do them, they will be fake. I think all the advertised ones are fake, unless they note it.
I've never heard that about staining, but I can totally see that being true though! Esp red!

Re: Rose petals.....
I defiantly want to do it and have heard the same thing about staining the dress. I guess that is why they make the fake ones
I have so much flowers that day, I think I might do the fake ones that way I can prepare everything ahead of time & not worry about them staining anything.
There is going to be flowers ever where, I am sure people won't even notice the difference or care to.

Re: Rose petals.....
That's a good question. I might use fake ones b/c they're less expensive. My friend used real petals and they didn't stain anything, but it was also an indoor ceremony.

Re: Rose petals.....
my church wont let us do rose petals...bc of the birds and animals will eat them. But before they changed that rule i know it was asked and they said def no fake bc thats even worse for animals if they got a hold of them.

Re: Rose petals.....
I know this sounds stupid, but I can't imagine them staining your dress unless it got stuck on you and you sat on it, or it got wet on your dress
But anyhoo....we are going to throw the fake ones.
Reason being is because they are lots cheaper.....nuff said

I'm planning on doing real ones.
I can't possibly imagine them staining unless you like rub one into your dress. Or throw white petals, they won't stain!
