Rose petals - extra $$???

Re: Rose petals - extra $$???

hmm...i guess i'm the minority here. nothin's free... i think unless u know someone or have really built a relationship that u would be charged. I wanted a ton of petals in the church as well as around the cp's, and my florist charged me by the bag. It wasn't a lot at all, but there was a charge. NOTHING is free with weddings...it s ucks, but that's the way it goes i guess

Pedestals ( my florist ) is throwing that in for free. Since you are getting married upstate if you can go to a florist and sometimes they have bags of petals for like $2.00.

Yup. the florist was charging me $20 for the petals...we only have 8 centerpieces.

i can buy 2 dozen roses from a supermarket for that much..

When all was said and done with my Florist and I was ready to book, I asked about the petal's and if he could 'thrown' them in for free. And they did. Did you book this florist already? I would tell them that you gone to other places and they said they would include this in the price, and that if they can't it might be a deal breaker. Tell them you are on a very tight budget. Hope that helps.

Any place that I looked at the petals weren't included. I'm paying for mine, but I'm also getting enough petals for 20 tables.

Can you see if they will go in halves with you on it? You booked this Florist already then? You want the centerpiece and the petals around it right? The other thing you can do is get freeze dried petals. They can send them to you, and you can have the hall you are getting married at put them on the tables for you. I did just a google search with Freeze Dried Rose Petals and a bunch of sites came up so you can do a cost comparison. Here you go. LMK!
