Re: Rose Petals for toss
Im doing this.I was shocked to learn that my florist (who are the first to tell me something costs mroe or 'can't' be done) is giving me my rose petals for free!!
If I had to buy them, I was going to buy them from www.freshroses.com and probably spring for the very expensive all one color petals.

Re: Rose Petals for toss
my florist is my friends mom, but when I asked her if I should have only red rose petals, she emphatically said, no, that I will have assorted colors because I'll get whatever she has in the store from the roses that don't sell Fine with me!

wow - I wish mine were free! I'm paying $65 for a large bag which is what I'm told is just cost - she's charging me exactly what she gets charged by her distributor.

Re: Rose Petals for toss
I have to ask my florist about this, she is a sweetheart so I hope she throws them in for me.If not, I may just get the assorted from freshroses.com.
Stef (or anyone who knows) will jus the one bag be enough for 200 guests?

Re: Rose Petals for toss
We threw rose petals. Our florist supplied them, and it didn't cost us anything. He threw them in.

Re: Rose Petals for toss
You probably have already, but just a reminder to double check with your ceremony site- I just found out that my church doesnt allow dropping rose petals.

Re: Rose Petals for toss
I went to the flower district the day before my wedding, and got a few bunches of flowers in different shades of ivory and yellow. My bridemaids took off the petals the night before.Welcome New Vendors
