I am buying roses for single bud vase place settings at my engagement party. My question is if the party is on a sunday when do I buy them, how long do they have to soak and when do I cut them to put into the vases?

i would say buy them no longer than 24 hours in advance-cut them as soon as you get them if they are very closed, and give them time to open. Before the party, cut them again and place in fresh water. store them in a cool, dry place in your house. Make sure they have food. At least thats what I would do...
