Today's show is usually taped.

haha i have to talk about this because everyone at my office hates elizabeth and loves to come out to watch the fueds (the big tv is by me).
im conservative but i lean to the left on certain issues. and im a bit fed up with bush too..BUT not to Rosies extent... so some of things im like yah ur right rosie..and some of the things i agree with elizabeth. MOST of the time i feel they are both extreme right and extreme left and i agree with neither.
i thought what rosie did was childish and ridiculous. I think she needs to sit back and take a good look at herself. she has way too much rage and anger and although many people love her for speakin her mind she needs to realize she will blacklist herself in the industry...theres a way to voice ur opinion and the way she does it is overbearring and harsh and no one likes that.
i noticed right away what alicia did. you have no idea how many people in the entertainment industry HATE elizabeth. (not me) Everyone I work with cant stand her...esp those with opposing views. i cant explain it. So, I knew right away that Alicia wouldnt give elizabeth the time of day.
I like elizabeth...and sometimes i like rosie when she is normal...but everyday I wait for a fued. its interesting. and i always leave it on. and i think since rosie only has 3 weeks left she is going to say whateva she wants if she comes back.
id be shocked if rosie was there today. really.
yeah see for me it wasn't about who was wrong or who is right because hey everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I don't agree with alot of things Elizabeth believes in. But then again i would not hold it against her or anyone for that matter, well maybe at times lol. Just like you there are things i agree with Rosie about, but honestly with the way she handles them nobody is paying attention to what she is talking about and whether or not she is right, they just pay attention to how she goes about expressing her views which is completely immature.
For me it was about how it was handled. She could've asked her backstage away from the cameras. You are on national TV, and are a public figure and should conduct yourself differently. She didn't prove anything with what she was saying but just looked like a big baby.
Just like you said there is a wrong way and right way to do it

exactlyyyyyy
i think rosie was ridiculous for that.
and alicia ..i dont think she did that bc of what happened...i think she shunned her bc she doesnt like her. there are a lot of people that do that to elizabeth. like..they wont answer her ?s or talk over her so they dont give her the chance to speak.

See before ROsie came on i used to watch, has nothing to do with rosie coming on just havent really been able to...but before that elizabeth wasn't that bad, at least not with expressing these type of opinions, i think since Rosie has been on she has had to talk about these things more. So i don't know alot of the things Elizabeth has been saying. I mean i can guess her views on things. Probably very church oriented, and says how people 'SHOULD' live their lives. I would basically disagree with most of what she says but Rosie just need to learn how to express her views and actually get the message across

It looks like Rosie won't be coming back to the view to finish off at this point.
I was so glad Elizabeth stood up for herself. Rosie was outright bullying her and not giving her a chance to speak her mind.
As for what Alicia Silverstone did--doesn't matter whether or not you like the person and agree/disagree with them...you made this commitment to come on to a show knowing full well they are one of the hosts. You shoud then give them the proper respect. That was plain rude.

I completely agree, just because you have different views from someone doesn't mean you act like that, she acted like she was in HS or something. You are an adult, again a public figure so conduct yourself with some respect.
See this is the problem with so many people and organizations who try to get a point across but the way they go about it makes them look real bad and the message is lost within the act.
Just like PETA-are they standing up for something important and is it a good cause-yes of course, but their actions turns alot of people off, and nobody is actually sitting there listening to their views when they act like this but criticizing them. Its sad too bc its a reflection of all PETA members and they're not all like that and they're giving everyone a bad name.
when you get extreme like that nobody cares what you are saying

Every time I watched them I would think if I was on this show I wouldn't even say anything because it isn't worth it. Politics are the worse thing to talk about with people. You are guarantee to have a fight.

She was acting like a child and Elizabeth even hinted at her childish behavior.
Taking extreme actions to get your point across does not necessarily work--all it accomplishes is alienating people.
Speaking of PETA--I once worked at a Genovese (now Eckerd) and they had it in their heads to sell fish one year. Well, the fish man would come every other day to feed them (because we weren't supposed to do it) and sometimes he would forget and some of the fish would die. Since the store was huge, we didn't always notice right away. Some lady came in once and saw it and complained and said she was from PETA and came back and started putting up signs in the store and trying to steal all the bowls of fish. It was insane! Was it even necessary???

See I'll debate about politics, religion or anything with anybody, i have no problem doing it. I understand people will have a different opinion and yes during the debate it can get heated but i wont hold it against the person and right after i can go right back to just being friendly with the person as if nothing happened. FH and i disagree about a couple of things when it comes to politics, we can have a heated discussion about it and right after i can sit there kissing him, hugging him as if nothing happened.
I actually like debating, but there is a way to handle things
