Roslyn Claremont

Roslyn Claremont

I heard that the Roslyn Claremont is a very nice place to stay! Unfortunately, they do not have any available rooms on 10/13/07. Does anyone know if they have a 'wait list' like the Garden City Hotel has? I don't want to call and make a fool of myself.

TIA

It can't hurt to ask! I'm getting married there and all the people we have dealt with have been sooo nice. The worst they can say is no. Tell them the GCH has a wait list and you want to know if they have something similar.

I would call and ask. It not a foolish question. If Im not mistaken they do have a waitlist. (I work in the travel industry and we used to use them alot!)

I just called Roslyn Claremont.

The very-helpful woman said that she would put me on the wait list (no one else is on the list). There are some rooms that are 'blocked' at the moment and any unused rooms will be released 5 weeks prior to 10/13/07.

I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Thanks....

usually when someone gets married there they let the family block 10 rooms - that's probably what's going on. any unreserved rooms in the block will be put back into general reservations about a month before. i bet something will work out!
