Rough week...

Rough week...

I am beside myself, I don't want to come on here and complain but first it was the 'accident' when we were just trying to have epics taken. Then earlier we thought there was going to be a big issue with our marriage issue (luckily it seems it's ok) and now...drumroll...I just lost my 3 brothers and my godfather who aren't driving up from Florida for the wedding anymore even though I offered to pay for them. I am heartbroken. I keep crying, FH doesn't seem phased, my mom says my step dad will give me away but that wasn't my concern. At all...I hate this, I feel as if I barely have any living family left, like really I can count immediate family on one hand and now no one is coming.

EDA: This doesn't make sense unless you knew that my godfather was walking me down the aisle and giving me away. And my 3 kid bros were groomsmen.

Thanks. And they aren't being mean they're being selfish. You don't say you want to give someone away if you don't know if you'll be able to take time off from work. I offered to pay for the kids' tuxes and drive up here and they suddenly don't seem to care, I feel like something happened behind the scenes so to speak and I'm just not in on it. My mom called and they didn't answer and I'm told to expect a call tomorrow to straighten everything out but after how the oldest one just spoke to me I'm like heartbroken...kid I raised you, I'd do anything for you, how could you speak to me like that and not only that but I guess this has been an issue for months and I'm hearing about it NOW and then he lied and said it just came up and OMG I'm SO gonna lose it.

I don't really know much of the back story, but I'm sorry you're having such a shizzy week, and I hope that everything works out, or at least you get the explanation that you deserve

Oh I am soo sorry to hear this. This would hurt under any circumstances and especially with all the wedding emotions. . I think you must be right that something else is going on besides this. . I mean it just doesnt seem like it can be about you. . I know virtual hugs don't change the situation at all but here's one for ya anyway

im so sorry to hear this...i really hope that they had good reason,esp since u offered to pay b/c they r ur family and he was going to walk u down the aisle

i now nothing e say can make u fel any bettr today,but trust me it will be better and u r going to have an amazing wedding even f i have to walk u down the aisle myself

Thanks ladies, I decided that as much as it hurts I can't care so much. I think all of this might have to do with tensions in the family that I'm just not aware of but if they can go be jerks then let them, I'll get over it. I'm thinking of walking down the aisle myself, does anyone do that? lol
