LOL yes please give me directions. I was so sad because it was the first house I could see us living in and what we would do to it and the type of furniture etc. We even took my Mom and Dad so they could inspect it before we put the offer in

Dont worry we will find them

Probably not. The one on Terry Road (when we saw it) was going for $399,000 but I saw they just reduced it to $389,000.

NPbride...did you see the inside of that one? We did....I think it has alot of potential...the floors upstairs were a big sloped...seriously in need of an engineer to look at it.

It seems a lot of us are looking in the same areas!

I'll bet we'll get into a bidding war with each other

We were out all weekend & all I can say is, for 500K, you can't get anything even decent or needs work!! FH & I are getting discouraged!

What the heck are you talking about!!?? Unless you are looking in Fort Salonga or Head of the Harbor, you can most certainly find something decent for $500K! Where are you guys looking??

Yeah, it definitely had potential but it needed MAJOR work. We really just did a quick walk through and we didn't like that it was on such a busy road.

no it wasn't on Terry it was on Lawrence way down closer to 25

But is this Terry one actually ON TERRY?
I don't think i could buy a house on a major road like that...

I have seen a lot of capse in that area though...all high in price...I saw one on Oxford for 499,000 which was IMO WAY TOO MUCH for a cape...even if it is in smithtown
389.000 is EXCELLENT if it isn't on terry

Yeah...it was right on Terry Rd....after it forks w/Smithtown Blvd.....$389 is a good price for Smithtown, BUT it did need TONS of work and obviously being on Terry Rd takes the appeal away.
