i'm going to start a rough draft of my seating chart and i was just wondering when u go to a wedding do u perfer to sit at round tables or rectangle? both hold 10-12 guest. TIA!!

I prefer round tables. I think it looks nicer in a room and you can talk easily to others at a table.

i like round also. it also means you can have a bit more room between tables.

I personally prefer Round tables. I think they make conversation a lot easier.

we had oval and nobody said it was bad! It looked nicer in my room as well! But i do like round for the talking factor

I don't have a choice - I have to have oval, which I think looks better. But if I had a choice, I would have done round - for the conversation factor.

I dunno with round being better for converation.....
I actually prefer oval or rectangular becuase you can't hear the person on the opposite side of a round table.... too far of a distance when the music is playing....

I prefer oval or rectangular tables. I think it's easier to talk to people at these tables rather than rounds.
Think about it - in an oval you have several people directly across from you and beside you that you can talk to. At a round table, you can only really talk to the people on your left or right side because the people across from you are all the way on the other side of the table much further away than at an oval.
I suppose its a matter of preference but I requested ovals for this reason.
