I dunno with round being better for conversation.....

I actually prefer oval or rectangular because you can't hear the person on the opposite side of a round table.... too far of a distance when the music is playing....


I agree.

I have to have round tables, but I want oval, or long banquet tables. I've never been able to hear anything from the opposite side of a round table. I think it's easier to see everyone, but not hear.

We are having 6 round and 4 square at our wedding; I liked the idea of changing it up to create some interest in the room

I prefer round too because the waiter won't be squeezing between chairs bumping into ppl trying to serve the food!!
