Re: Royalton Brides....
I went in with a list of passed HD's that we wanted and most of them were also suggested by Mike T he suggested a few others.
Then we went through the types of stations we wanted and he suggested dishes that went together and it was similar to what I had in mind
He suggested some main dishes and they sounded great so we went for those as well.
We went for our tasting and weren't in love with the meat (we are BIG steak eaters) so we went back for a second tasting and they got the meat from another supplier and it was great. I am very happy with the menu
If you need suggestions, let me know. I would love to hear what they suggest for you.

Re: Royalton Brides....
I'm very interested in getting married at the Royalton. Has anybody here had a wedding there that was close to 250 people plus? It's been a tug of war for me, deciding if my party will REALLY fit there.
Also, I've heard some talk about them planning on renovating the outside. Does anybody have an idea of when this would take place? I don't want to be getting married during it.
These are all questions I am going to ask Gerard in a few days when I call him, but I'd like your honest two cents. THANKS!

Re: Royalton Brides....
I got married at the Royalton on 10/16. They already did the renovations as far as I know. They added dormers and an extended pergola (I think that's what it's called) to replace the awning that was out front.
I was not aware of any more renovations besides those.
I had 140 people (didn't use 2 tables and most were 10-12 people per table) and I thought people had plenty of room.
They have sooo many events and weddings there every weekend. Ask to see a 250 person wedding set up and then you can decide if it's too tight or not.
Everything with the Royalton was perfect and people are still raving about it and telling me it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Talk to Gerard/Mike T with your concerns. I always appreciated how open and honest they were with their answers.

Hi! I was just a bridesmaid in KerriJohnS's wedding at the Royalton, and I also got married at the Royalton this past June. Kerri had 205 guests at her wedding. The room was full but not crowded. You would be able to this by having 18 tables of 14 which they can do, but that's where it gets crowded. Our table had 14 and it was definitely tight. I barely sat down because I was dancing and running around all night, but the times I did sit to eat it was a bit tight at the table with 14 people. If you're going to have a big party crowd that will be dancing a lot, you may be ok with the more crowded tables, because not everyone will be seated the whole time. I think it's worth looking into. The Royalton does the most amazing job of any RH I've been to on LI. Straight up. You also don't know for sure that you'll end up with 250...You may end up with less. I definitely do NOT think they could do more than 250 though. FM me if you have more questions! I highly highly recommend the Royalton!
