Royalton Brides using a Photo Booth...

Where are you putting it?

I'm on the fence about a photo booth. I feel like it wil be filled with our nieces and nephews all night. That being said, I still think its super cute- but curious where it would go.

My other idea is a Polaroid guest book. Basically set up a Polaroid camera and note cards next to a scrap booking book and have guests sign little notes next to their glued on pictures. This would obviously take up less room and i would do it in the foyer.

What do you think??

This! I'm using the Ruby Booth. It has a vintage feel and I think it fits perfectly into our venue.

to be honest I dont remember where the piano ones BUT if you were standing in the door way to the reception room and looking towards the front door - it was on the right hand side up against the wall (if you were in the booth you were facing back towards the reception room... Does that make sense?

Royalton Brides using a Photo Booth...

I Just got married at the Royalton this past Saturday. I haven't had a chance to write a review yet, but I totally plan on doing so because everything was absolutely amazing and the staff was so wonderful. I happened to see this and thought I'd share what I did with my Photo Booth because it worked out really well. First of all, I asked Gerard to open the french doors on the side of the ballroom about 10-15 minutes after everyone entered the ballroom. When the doors opened, it was set up like a lounge for guests to hang out in if they didn't want to be in the ballroom the whole time. - We had couches, high-top tables and a bar..It looked beautiful and people loved it.
The french doors then closed around 10:45 so that they could begin setting up for viennese hour. When the doors re-opened at 11... all of the deserts were out, along with a Photo Booth. (I used NyFaceBooth- and they were great). People were really excited about the Photo Booth and immediately started taking pictures. I had the photo booth for 2 hours (from 11 pm - 1am) It worked out perfectly because I felt like 2 hours was more than enough time and it didn't take away from the party or dancing at all. Our after-party was from 12-1am, so people were able to use the photo booth a
lot during this time as well.
At first, I was going to put it in the lobby, but then I didn't want people hanging out in the lobby waiting to use the photbooth. I think doing it in the cocktail hr room was better, because there was the viennese hr food, a bar, and places to sit... It worked all worked out really well!
