Royalton menu!!!

Since the boards are so slow I figured I'd post about my menu!!

We did our menu last night... and I didn't write anything down. Our tasting is next week.... so he is going to type it all up for me. So this is from memory and A LOT is missing!!

Entry - Guests will be greeted with drinks!! But mixed fruity fun drinks like: Chocolate Godiva Martini, Rum Punch, Blue Hawaiian, Mai Tai, Alambama Slammer, etc.

CH hour is 1.5 hours and will include 5 stations:
Tuscany - cheese, veggies, dips, fruit, crackers, etc. Can't remember what else
Italian - All I remmeber is fried calimari, muscles, clams. There's more but I can't remember
Pasta - lobster ravioli, penne alla vodka with peas (yay!! I get soo happy when I see peas!!) (no prochuitto), rigatoni primavera or something. Once more there is more but I can't remember... oh and garlic bread
Carving - steak, chicken, some kind of glazed ham or something
Fahita - yay!! Shrimp, steak, chicken, with all the fixings and also tri colored tortilla chips AND the BEST part... a patron bar with ice luge!!! There will be other liquors there too!!!

The Main Entrees are:
Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes
Stuffed Chicken Breast with the skin and some veggies. Idk what it's stuffed with (can't remember)
Chilean Sea Bass with Lobster Risotto
Vegetarian dish - can't remember but it sounded great last night

Red Velvet cake (YUM)

Vienese hour - includes choc fountain, ice cream bar, coffee and cappucino bar, italian pastries, cookies, creme brulee, and I don't know what else!!

HAHA... sorry I forgot MOST of it!!! That's my goldfish memory for you!!!

PS there are also passed hordorves... but we didn't pick those out just yet.

We did our RD for Nov 1st... the Sunday before. I didn't want to kill everyone with doing it during the week. And I just didn't want to be hung over for the wedding. I want to drink and have fun for the RD. when my group gets together... it's ALWAYS a crazy party!!!

Ahhh.. what was I supposed to ask about the farwell table?? I can't remember. BUT I am going back there on the 8th for the tasting... so I will put it on my list of things to ask about.

I got your email... and I thought I responded... but I guess not. Sometimes I think about doing things and then don't do them... but I believe I did them because I thought about it and I get all confused. Sorry!!! I'm a ditz!

I got the cocoa. BUT THANK YOU TREMENDOUSLY for trying to help me out!! YOU ARE SUPER SWEET!!!! I <3 You!!!

my bff went to a wedding at the royalton last weekend, and she still can't stop talking about the food!! she said the cake was one of the best she's ever tasted, and they had red velvet!

Hahaha truuuuuuuuuuuuuuuue!!!! Our group is crazy!!! That's why I'm sooo glad I'm OFF monday the 2nd!!

To all the future Royalton brides: THEIR FOOD IS AMAZING!!! We also did the Chilean Sea Bass with Lobster Risotto and it was TO DIE FOR!! I know people that don't eat fish that tried it and loved it.

Digio809 (my bff) got married at the Royalton in July and I had the Chilean Sea Bass. It was amazing!!!! Good choice!

The patron bar goes with the fajita station!! haha!! But I asked for other liquors to be there. I hear they do jello shots.. and as you've learned... it's not a Kerri party without jello shots... so I'm going to ask about that next week. I don't do regular shots so the jello is my fill in!!! haha!!

I KNOW about John's Day!! hahahaha!! But it kinda suucks that he has work the day after the RD

Dude JELLO SHOTS MUST HAPPEN. But you have to tell them they HAVE to make them with the watermelon vodka!! That SEALED the deal!!! OMG we could totally make them GREY GOOSE Jello Shots!!! HAAA!! With the GG la Poire (pear vodka soooo yums!!!).

I know it does.. BUT he ONLY has work that day then he's off for the rest of the week. So it's no sooo horrific.

GREAT call on the flavored Jello Shots!! I didn't write that down, nor did I think of saying it!! haha!! I'm noting that down on my list!! I just made a to do list that's soooo long!!! I've been soo relaxed because I feel like I have soo much time. I think I live in a bubble the majority of the time!!

The pear vodka sounds AMAZING!!!!
I'll give them options of using either,
watermelon,
pear
strawberry
cherry
pineapple

ANY of those and I'M SOLD!!!!

So, they surprised us at our wedding with flavored shots with sorbet chasers and they were really yummy and a huge hit. Not sure if you ladies had those at any of the other weddings but go for it. We also have a fun, drinking crowd and the group was impressed!!

Also, I know you know this already but the food is amazing!! We had the chilean sea bass done teriyaki style (chef recommended it) and people who dont eat fish were raving. We als had veal chops which were outstanding and even the chicken was the best i ever had at reception.

For the cake, we also did red velvet, but they wound up making the filling a strawberry shortcake filling. it was basically buttercream and strawberries. They did this because i wanted half the cake to be strawberry shortcake but the chef said it wouldnt hold. When my hubby fed it to me for the cake cuttini literally stopped and looked at him and was like, 'this cake is amazing!' try it if you like strawberries.

Patron luge..thats great. We had patron shots flowing like crazy at our wedding.

Also, the shots with the sorbet on the dance floor are still being talked about..even my mom who doesn't drink did those shots.

We did the chilean sea bass too, teryaki style and everyone loved it. We also did a strip steak that was to die for.

One of the pass arounds that people LOVED which I didn't of course get to try was the coconut shrimp. They said it was with a pina colada sauce or something.

Our cake was the best anyone has ever had. We did chocolate cake with raspberry filling...

Trying to remember what else people raved about. The calamari I heard was excellent. Tira Misu (sp?) at the desset bar...We had a raw bar that was to die for and sushi bar as well that people loved.

You can't go wrong...They made my day sooo easy it was the best wedding ever..I wish I could attend one there.
