I didn't go to Carlyle, but I LOVED the Royalton, and I heard the food there is amazing. Unfortunately, it was too small for us :(

Going to the Royalton on October 5th for my best friend's wedding!!!!! They have been so nice, so accommodating and helpful. The wedding hasn't happened yet and she is already raving about them! If I remember, I will let you know how it goes.

I loved, loved, loved the Carlyle on the Green--even the BM we spoke with (Mindy), but we couldn't afford it so I had to give up the dream

I love the Royalton BUT I am upset that there is not much in terms of grounds for picture taking so we have to take our pics at OWG and spend an extra $400 for OWG + $1000 for limos that we would not have needed otherwise.

Carlyle on the green was one of my top choices.... they are absolutely amazing and they offer so much and the place is beautiful.... i have never been to Royalton so i really can't say anything about them
The only down side to Carlyle to me was that it really could accomondate for the amount of people we will be having!

Are you kidding me??? No place to take pictures??? My photographer took amazing pictures there-in the courtyard, the rear gardens, the arbor of those magnificent trees in the front, all through out the mansion!!! Why go anywhere else?!? You need a new photographer!
The Royalton hands down-Best food, completely private(No resaurant or golfers), the most beautiful!!

Not a fan of the CH set-up at Carlyle...People were standing in hallways trying to eat, and split up between three different rooms...and there were hardly any seats.

My daughter is getting married there on Oct. 6th. We know many people that have gone to weddings there and LOVED it. Every aspect was fantastic according to them. I will write a mini review after the wedding
Also I have to agree about places to take photos. The English Gardens and surrounding area is beautiful as is the inside.

Definitely the Royalton. I got married there on 6/1 and everything was great. The best food, awesome service. You definitely have more picture options then you think there.

Obviously, I'm biased, but we did go to Carlyle to check them out and we thought the Royalton was way more elegant. We also found the people at the Royalton to be much more approachable.
