The last coat of paint has dried so heres another thing off my list!
Box is from Michael's and then I covered it in many many coats of silver acrylic paint and made a slot for the cards. The inside doesn't match or colors but no ones going to see in there anyway so I didn't make myself crazy recovering it, it is what it is :)

You're not being nosey at all!
-I bought the box at Michael's (it was a brown/burgandy alligator printed box) -I then took silver acrylic paint and covered the box in probably 5-10 thin coats letting them dry in between until the original color no longer showed through. -Then I just marked off and area in the middle of the top where the card slot would go and using an exacto and a ruler cut it out. -Lastly I took some paint and covered the edges of the card slot and thats it.
Its so easy I think most anyone could do it no matter what your craftiness level!
