Do you think black is a bad color for BM for a July wedding??? I am having a some problems deciding.... and 3 of them are trying to get pregnant... two live out of state... I figured they could just get their own little black dress and call it a day.... black was the only color that I could think of that I didnt have to worry about shades... Ceremony starts @ 6:30 What do you ladies think???????

Re: RP-07-Need opinions PLEASE!!!
i'm contemplating black as well!! my wedding is in august. I will probably pick out strapless gowns with some roucshing (sp??) so that its flattering. then i'm going to have the girls carry bright pink and peach flowers.

Re: RP-07-Need opinions PLEASE!!!
I am doing a black and white wedding in the end of September. Black is always a good color for any garment and its elegant and classy and your having an evening wedding so it will not be as hot. Grooms almost always wear black tuxes - in any month - and no one questions it. My girls are so excited that the dress is black and one that they can wear again!!!
One proviso: you should require that they get the same fabric and length. Any black chiffon, any black organza, etc. Different materials will look different espically if one has a sheen and the other does not. Good luck.

Couple of things.....JMO......
I am totally all about black in general, but in July, I would say go for T length is possible. The only other thing is, while you don't have to really worry about shades, the texture of the dress could totally change the look....if someone has a silk black dress vs. someone wearing a basic polyester blend type, they're going to look very different.
Also, just remember that black is a popular color for all girls, so be prepared to possibly have non BP members looking like they're part of your BP...
JMO.... But I LOVE black in general!! Very flattering!!

Im ok with non-bp in black, but the fabric may be an issue, and I didnt even think of that, really Fh mentioned that too (we worries me sometimes ) I wil lhave to think about that a little more...t-lenght is is a must though....

I dont think it's bad if you pair it with another bright color like pink or blue or green ...but do what u want to do ... don't do a color because it is convenient for other people ...that's just my opinion
i think this would be cute. they wear a 'little black dress' and you get them a shear wrap in a bright color. that way, if some are preggo and want to hide the extra weight, they can
