Why don't you have a custom wedding band made? That's a lot easier! And cheaper. Or you could wear your engagement ring on the other hand, lots of brides do. Or, if you really want something new, why don't you get a new setting made for your stones, and get a wedding band made at the same time? It's not all that expensive, really--certainly less expensive than buying an entirely new engagement ring and having to sell the 'old' one, as it's unlikely you'd get anywhere near what you paid for it. Besides, aren't you at least a little sentimental about your engagement ring? If you have it changed, it will still be the same stone(s) and maybe even the same metal.

Also, there are a LOT of wedding bands out there that are specifically designed to fit with oddly shaped engagement rings. Some women even get them soldered together.

Good luck!

I was going to reply, but then I realized that I would just be repeating everything Pencils said ...

So .... I'll just add that I totally agree.

No need to get a new e-ring, unless you don't like it for some reason and you're looking for a 'reason' to get it re-set in a different setting.

I got my wedding band custom made.....much cheaper, I'd go that route!
