When I tried a slip on at the bridal salon and they measured me for a hollow to hem, the slip was tied and was falling off while I was walking, I also kept tripping over it. Very uncomfortable!!!
Can you recommend something that would be comfortable and will stay up all night???
I have heard you can get a velcro close slip, is that better then the tie ones?

I bought one on ebay and its kind of more of an elastic waist with a hook clasp

I haven't gotten mine yet, but the one I tried on at the bridal salon was velcro. It felt fine, but you have to make sure it fits well so it doesn't come undone when you move around.

Mine has velcro too and I like it better. They also have ones with snaps too.
