RP Dentist Help

So I noticed last night that it looked like part of my gum was kinda overlapping one of my teeth.

i have a tooth that is little bit behind one tooth, so depending how far i open my mouth or not then you can tell otherwise its not too noticeable unless i point it out.

so i went to the dentist on my way home real quick i had called they said to get there before 5.

So he checks it and says either its an infection or it could be that because my wisdom teeth are still coming in and pushing on my teeth it might have pushed that tooth back(i can't really tell) but he says even the slightest push could have set off the gum having to compensate for the space which means they'll have to cut the gum and then most likely put braces on.

If braces have to go on then wisdom teeth will have to come out(no point getting them on if they'll still be in there pushing my teeth) and then get braces.
how can i do this with less than 9months until the wedding.

Has anyone have anything like this happen to them?
Or have to have their gums cut?

ETA:The tooth was already pushed behind my other tooth not sure if the wisdom teeth are making it worse.

sorry i can't help...but I would recm'd getting another consultation...I never heard of getting braces put on to compensate for pushed teeth; usually the wisdom teeth are pulled or other teeth are pulled to make room for others...hence, I don't have K9's b/c there was no room....

Sorry I can't help you out with that, but my wisdom teeth never really came in, instead growing out of my gums, they were impacted and grow side ways, which caused my bottom two front teeth to push together and overlap... I left it alone, cause you really can't notice it unless you are looking my mouth

ok I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at once even though only 2 were bad.... figured he had me in the chair no reason not to take them all..... I had receeding gum line and had to have oral surgery on front gum ..... they had to put a piece of my gum from the back of my mouth to surgically put on the front..... my oral surgen was fantastic.... little pain and your gums heal fast.... I would ask if you do all of this now how fast would it be.... even ask if he does the braces on the teeth if he can take it off a day or two before wedding so you won't have them on your teeth ... then put them back on....

Well the tooth I'm talknig about is kinda behind one of my top front middle teeth, he said braces would correct that, but thats also the tooth with the gum situation right now.

My sil told me that her dentist does it... but i think that you have to put them on like the next day or day after...... I don't know if all dentist will do it but she told me that she might do it for my wedding...... so I would ask what is the worst case he says no...... maybe if you take out the wisdom teeth and clear the infection.... it won't be as noticable...
